The food was a lot better than I was expecting, the chips were great. They also provided some pork rinds in with the chips. A fairly simple interior but the food and the service are great.

Las Marias has good customer service, delicious food, and a nice atmosphere. I loved the enchiladas en salsa Verde and the fresh lemonade. I also liked that they added chicharrones as an appetizer with the chips. Highly recommend this Mexican restaurant!

Was happy to see chicharrones with the chips! As an appetizer, we got the oro verde and such an authentic flavor it had! My husband got the Quesabirria tacos, and I got the enchiladas verdes. The tortillas were *chefs kiss* perfect! So fresh, fluffy, you would've thought they were flour. And the rice was made so savory and cookied to perfection. Amazing flavor jumping off the plate!! Lupia Rita drink was also tried, and it was balanced beautifully with citrus, sweet, and tequila! Hands down recommend!! We've found our favorite date spot in Temple!

We’re visiting from Houston, where we’re pretty spoiled when it comes to Mexican food — and this spot in Temple held up surprisingly well! ...

Really great place can't wait to go back. Good chips and though the salsa is a bit different I really enjoyed it. My wife had the enchiladas mole and said they were the best she's had since we lived in deep South Texas. The rice here is not the normal orange Spanish rice that you get at most Tex-Mex restaurants, which I enjoy, here it is much better. The best way I can explain it is like a dirty rice with corn and peas and really super well flavored. Don't come expecting normal Tex-Mex come expecting something a little more authentic like you might see on a Rick Bayless episode.

Best Mexican restaurant in town. They make everything in-house, even the goat barbacoa, their biria is to die for, and the portions are good-sized. Everyone inside is kind and attentive, and they have an open kitchen so you can see what's going on. I got the mini quesa tacos with biria and goat meat, and it was outstanding. The prices can be a little on the higher side, but it's worth it. Give them a try!
